EFN (European Fulfillment Network)
Fulfillment
Amazon's cross-border fulfillment option that lets EU FBA sellers ship to multiple EU marketplaces from a single country's warehouse, without pre-stocking inventory in each destination country.
European Fulfillment Network (EFN) is Amazon's cross-border fulfillment option for EU FBA sellers. With EFN, you store inventory in one country's FBA centers — typically Germany or your home market — and Amazon ships internationally to buyers in other EU marketplaces. EFN is the simpler alternative to Pan-EU FBA: lower complexity, single VAT registration needed for the storage country, but higher per-unit fulfillment fees and slower cross-border delivery times. Pan-EU stores inventory in all 5–7 EU marketplaces in advance, lowering fees and delivery time but requiring VAT registration in each country. Most new EU FBA sellers start with EFN and migrate to Pan-EU once cross-border volume justifies the VAT compliance overhead.
