Sellers can utilize the Inventory Performance Index (IPI) report to monitor their inventory health and avoid excessive storage fees, as an IPI score below 400 may lead to additional long-term storage fees. In the EU, sellers must also consider the implications of VAT registration in countries like DE, FR, IT, ES, PL, and CZ, as Amazon may distribute stock across these locations. The trade-off for maintaining stock in multiple countries is the potential for higher storage fees, especially if inventory does not move quickly.
