AgentXray vs Sellerboard (2026): Profit tracker vs operations AI
Last updated: 2026-09-05
TL;DR
Both tools live after launch, so this is a real comparison now, not two stages. Sellerboard is a mature profit dashboard: real-time P&L per ASIN, FBA reimbursement claims, PPC cost attribution, inventory alerts, from $19/mo. AgentXray measures profit from the settlement line items Amazon posted, judges each advertising arm on net contribution, and adds the part a dashboard does not have: your own Claude or ChatGPT drafts the bid, budget and listing changes, Amazon validates them, and you approve them. If you want the most complete accounting view, Sellerboard is ahead. If you want the measured number and a change queue your AI can fill, that is what we built.
Sellerboard (Germany, since 2017) is one of the most established Amazon profit trackers: real-time P&L, per-ASIN margins, FIFO COGS, refund analytics, reimbursement automation, PPC attribution, inventory planning and a mobile app, with reviews in the tens of thousands. AgentXray (Avanta Global EOOD, Sofia) is built by an active Amazon seller around a narrower promise: every profit number comes from settlement line items rather than fee estimates, every advertising arm is priced against that seller's own break-even, and the connector lets an assistant you already pay for draft changes into an approval queue. This page is written from Sellerboard's published pages and our own measured surfaces, and says where they are ahead as plainly as where we are.
The tools compared
AgentXray
From $29/mo — 14-day trial with a card on file; paid tiers differ only by monthly order volume. USD billing, no commission.
Amazon operations AI for Claude and ChatGPT: settlement-measured profit, drafts a human approves.
Strengths
- Profit and fees from the settlement line items Amazon posted — gaps shown, never estimated
- Net contribution per advertising arm, and a break-even ACoS from your own fees
- Your own Claude or ChatGPT drafts bid, budget, negative-keyword and listing changes; you approve them in the browser
- Applied changes judged 14 days later on net contribution — or reported as inconclusive
- Listed in the official MCP Registry; every answer carries its basis and its gaps
Best for: Sellers who want the number their bank statement agrees with, and an AI that proposes rather than acts.
Sellerboard
$19/mo — Standard; Professional $29/mo; Business $39/mo; Enterprise from $63/mo. 1-month free trial.

- FBA reimbursement automation for lost and damaged inventory
- PPC cost attribution mapped to product profit
- Inventory planning, restock alerts, listing-change alerts, review requests
- Mobile app and eight years of product maturity
Best for: Sellers who want the most complete accounting dashboard for a live catalog, plus reimbursement claims.

Verdict by use case
- The most complete accounting dashboard: Sellerboard
- FBA reimbursement claims: Sellerboard
- Inventory planning, review requests, mobile app: Sellerboard
- Knowing the fees Amazon actually deducted, with gaps stated: AgentXray
- Letting your own AI draft changes you approve: AgentXray
- Proving a change worked, or admitting it is unclear: AgentXray
Where we do not win: Sellerboard has eight years of accounting depth, reimbursement automation, inventory tooling and a mobile app that we do not have. Where we do: the profit number is measured from settlement lines rather than reported, and the number leads somewhere — a draft your own assistant writes and you approve. Many sellers will run both; if you can only run one and the change queue matters more than the reimbursements, it is us.
Frequently asked questions
- Is AgentXray a research tool and Sellerboard an accounting tool?
- Not any more. That was the framing on this page until September 2026, when AgentXray's research stack was paused. Today both tools work on a live account: Sellerboard tracks it, AgentXray measures it from settlement lines and lets your AI draft changes you approve.
- Can AgentXray replace Sellerboard?
- For the profit number and for acting on it, yes. For reimbursement claims, review requests, inventory planning depth and a mobile app, no — Sellerboard has those and we do not.
- Does either tool change my account on its own?
- Sellerboard reports; it does not change campaigns or listings. AgentXray drafts changes, Amazon validates them, and only a person approving in the browser makes them reach Amazon — the connector cannot approve its own draft.
- Can I use both?
- Yes. Let Sellerboard keep the books and file the claims; use AgentXray for the settlement-measured per-arm number and the draft-and-approve path for changes.
